Please join us in this
very special endeavor, as we launch
the "Hearts for Haiti" initiative to help the
people of Haiti on their long road to recovery from last
month's devastating earthquake. This fund-raiser will
run through the months of February and March, all
across Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union,
and Webster counties.
One year ago, we witnessed firsthand
the destruction (minor, in comparison) wrought by the
2009 ice storm. This natural disaster brought out the
very best in our communities, as we united to meet
the needs of friends and strangers alike. Let's
showcase the Green River region's world-class spirit of
compassion to our neighbors in the global
community!
