GRADD Awarded Major Benefits
Outreach & Enrollment Grant
At a March 11 press
conference, GRADD announced receipt of a
$100,000 National Council on Aging
grant to find and enroll senior citizens
and disabled individuals with limited incomes into
public benefits programs. GRADD is one of
only 10 organizations nationwide -- and the
only in Kentucky -- to be awarded this NCOA
grant. Partnering with nine other state
and local social service agencies, GRADD will
seek to enroll 3,000 western Kentucky residents in
programs such as Medicare D, Food Stamps, and
Prescription Assistance within the next 12 months.

GRADD Hosts Southern Growth
Policies Board Forum on the Future of Energy
in Our Region
